Travertino Romano Design OIKOS is an ecological, ready-mixed decorative coating that authentically imitates the appearance and structure of natural stone travertine. It offers a timeless solution for interior and exterior cladding, combining stone-like dignity with lightness, ecology and ease of use. The coating is made from quarry waste and lime-based binders, and it applies creamy and soft. Depending on the application technique, the end result can be a uniform stone-like surface, a block-coated effect or even a brick-like structure, only your imagination is the limit.

Application and application techniques

• Priming: Apply the product to a clean, flat and primed surface. Recommended primers: Il Primer or Blankor.
• Application: Apply the coating with a steel trowel. Depending on the desired effect, the surface can be textured with a soft brush, special brush, or with bevels.
• Effects: Massive stone surface, uniform and valuable appearance. Travertine blocks, create the impression of blocks with a stone-cut surface. Brick-like structure, worked with line tools, finished with a light brush.
• Finishing: Finish with Travertino Romano Finitura coating (untinted or tinted). This increases water repellency and gives a refined matte shine.

Technical data

• Drying time: Touch dry 2–3 h, fully dry approx. 30 h.
• Application temperature: +5 °C – +36 °C (RH < 80%)
• Cleaning: Tools can be cleaned with water
