Lime mortar Rasatura Alla Calce

Rasatura Alla Calce OIKOS is a lime-based, mineral ready-to-use levelling compound, specially designed for finishing exterior and interior walls and levelling uneven surfaces. This multi-purpose product is based on air-lime paste, and its high alkali content effectively prevents the formation of mould and bacteria. Available in three different grain sizes – 0.3 FINE, 0.6 MEDIUM and 0.8 GROSSO – it allows both precise application and the desired structural finish in different applications. The levelling compound does not shrink after drying, has excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, while maintaining excellent breathability.

Applications and technical application:

Rasatura Alla Calce is suitable for interior and exterior surfaces, especially mineral substrates such as lime cement, gypsum and lime mortars. It works both for finishing new buildings and for restoring historical sites.

Surface preparation:Clean the surface to be treated from dust, loose particles, dirt or old paint. New mortars must be completely dry (at least 30 days). If necessary, priming with products such as NEOKRYLL or BLANKOR, especially for very porous or dusty surfaces.

Application: Apply 1–2 coats with a stainless steel spatula with a prepared trowel. For larger structural irregularities, several layers can be applied. The surface can be finished by lightly rubbing, e.g. with a sponge, depending on the desired result.
