Effect paint Ecoshabby

Ecoshabby OIKOS is a water-based, solvent-free and formaldehyde-free enamel paint, specially designed for decorative finishing of furniture and interior items with shabby chic, antique and whitewash effects. The ultra-matte texture allows for a discreet and at the same time expressive finish that brings out the natural beauty of wood or other surfaces. The product adheres well, is odorless, washable and easy to apply either with a brush or roller. Designed specifically for wooden surfaces, Ecoshabby renews and enlivens both classic and modern interior elements. Available in white and several shades.

Applications, application and effects:

Ideal for wood, iron and plastic indoors. Particularly suitable for renewing furniture, toys, interior items and panel surfaces.

Single-colour effect: Apply two coats of Ecoshabby paint to the selected surface. Applying with a brush will achieve a rustic and lively surface, while applying with a roller will give a smoother finish. Coverage: 12–14 m²/l/coat.

 Two-tone shabby chic effect: First apply the selected base colour. When the paint has dried, apply wax to the areas you want to leave visible (e.g. corners and edges). Then apply the top colour and lightly sand the waxed areas to reveal the base colour. Coverage: 12–14 m²/l/coat.

Brushed wood effect:Use a wire brush to create grooves in the wood surface. Apply diluted Ecoshabby and brush again. When the surface is dry, lightly sand to enhance the old and worn effect. Coverage: 14–16 m²/l/coat.

Patinated wood effect: Apply Ecoshabby to the wood surface and blend the wet surface with a damp sponge or cloth to achieve the desired effect. The effect can be deepened by layering different shades. Consumption: 14–16 m²/l/layer.

Substrate preparation: Untreated wood: Light sanding is sufficient, if necessary Ecoshabby can be applied directly.

Previously painted surfaces: The surface should be cleaned and lightly roughened.

Smooth surfaces such as PVC or metal: Clean, degrease and lightly sand, then prime with ECOAGGRAPPANTE.

 Iron surfaces: Remove rust, use if necessary CONVERTITORE ECOLOGICO and ANTIRUGGINE ECOLOGICO Primer.

The product does not contain heavy metals (such as lead or chromium), does not contain aromatic or chlorinated solvents.
The product is not flammable
Suitable for children's rooms and toy surfaces.
