Biocompact Elastic
Biocompact Elastic OIKOS is a high-tech elastomeric coating that combines the durability of an acrylic-siloxane-based structure with exceptional flexibility. This continuous coating forms a naturally breathable and water-repellent protective layer without film formation during the drying phase. Specially developed for demanding surfaces such as ceramics and glass, it offers excellent adhesion and durability and maintains the breathability of the wall structure.
Features and benefits:
- Flexible structure: The acrylic-elastomeric composition of the product makes it ideal for treating cracked, chipped or uneven wall surfaces.
- Complete protection against moisture and biological growths: Biocompact Elastic prevents the formation of mold and algae even in humid or rain-exposed environments.
- Self-cleaning and water-repellent: The surface effectively repels dirt and water, keeping the facade clean for longer.
- Breathable: High water vapor permeability prevents moisture from accumulating in the structures, which helps maintain a healthy indoor air and prevents structural damage.
- Excellent adhesion: Adheres even to challenging surfaces such as glass and ceramics without a separate intermediate layer.
- Three grain sizes: Choose from fine (1.0 mm), medium (1.2 mm) or coarser (1.5 mm) to create a variety of aesthetic surfaces and structures.
- Colors: Available in white and tinted in up to 620 UV-resistant shades from the OIKOS color chart.
- Ecological and safe: Low odor, free of heavy metals and harmful solvents. Fireproof and environmentally friendly. Meets CAM environmental criteria, level III EPD certificate.
Application and technical data:
- Application method: With a stainless steel trowel. The coating is carried out in a circular motion in a layer thickness that corresponds to the selected grain size.
- Priming: The substrate must be clean, dry and uniform. The new plaster must be allowed to dry for at least 30 days. For priming, we recommend BLANKOR by OIKOS.
- Consumption: Biocompact Elastic 10: 0.9–1.1 m²/l. Biocompact Elastic 12: 0.8–1.0 m²/l. Biocompact Elastic 15: 0.6–0.7 m²/l
- Drying time: Touch dry: 3–5 hours. Completely dry: 24 hours
