Mold-resistant paint 306 BioAntimuffa

306 BioAntimuffa OIKOS is a disinfecting bio-paint for indoor use with excellent mold and algae control. Its unique composition utilizes broad-spectrum fungicides and ingredients that inhibit bacterial growth, making it particularly effective even on already contaminated surfaces with extensive mold or algae. The paint restores the health of surfaces and prevents the formation of new growths. An ideal choice for damp and poorly ventilated spaces, such as bathrooms, kitchens, basements or north-facing walls, where the amount of water vapor, high humidity and temperature fluctuations predispose to mold formation. The paint can also be used preventively on healthy walls without special priming.

Primer and application

• Clean the surface from mold and algae using STERYLFIX-cleaner and STERYLSAN-disinfectant.
• For highly absorbent or weathered surfaces, we recommend 240 BIOFISSATIVO UNIVERSALE Primer.
• Let the primer dry for at least 6 hours.
  • First coat: Mix 30–40% drinking water, apply with brush or roller
  • Second coat (after 6–8 h drying): Mix 25–30% drinking water
  • Spray application: 25% drinking water
  • Drying time to touch dry: 1–1.5 h. Full cure: 4 days

Technical data

• Vapour permeability: The product allows the walls to breathe well, i.e. it does not prevent moisture from evaporating from the structures. An Sd value of 0.0411 m means excellent breathability, which helps prevent moisture problems.
• Washability: Class 3. TThe product is suitable for rooms where dirt may occur, but constant washing is not required.
• Coverage: New walls, lime mortar: 14–16 m²/l/layer. Gypsum-based surfaces: 18–22 m²/l/coat
• Colors: White + 176 shades color chart
• VOC: < 1 g/l. The paint is very low-emission, as it contains less than 1 gram of volatile organic compounds (VOC) per liter. This makes it a safe choice, especially for sensitive users and for spaces where indoor air quality is important, such as homes and public spaces

Safety and environment

The product does not contain heavy metals such as lead or chromium, does not contain aromatic or chlorinated solvents, and does not cause hazardous polymerization. The product is classified as non-hazardous when used correctly.
