Mold-resistant paint Sterylpaint

Sterylpaint OIKOS is a disinfectant, breathable and paint with anti-mold technology that provides long-term protection in rooms exposed to moisture. Its special formula contains effective fungicidal and antibacterial ingredients that prevent the formation of mold, algae and fungal growth in advance. This washable, non-flammable and low-odor paint has been developed for interior spaces with high humidity, such as bathrooms, kitchens, swimming pools, saunas and other humid environments.

Application and instructions

• Surface preparation:
  Remove any mold and algae with Oikosin Sterylfix- or Sterylsan cleaner.
  The surface must be clean, dry and dust-free.
  If the wall is very porous or crumbling, it is recommended to use Oikosin primer (NEOFIX, CRILUX or IL PIGMENTATO).
• Painting:
  Stir the paint thoroughly before use.
  Apply 2 coats with a brush, by roller or spray.
  The first coat can be thinned 30-40% with water if necessary. Second layer: 25-30% with drinking water
  Drying time between coats 4-6 hours.
• Drying time:
  Dry to the touch in approximately 1–2 hours (+20°C and 75% humidity).
  Completely dry and solid in approximately 4 days.
