Spatola Dentata OIKOS is a high-quality toothed steel spatula, specially designed for applying decorative coatings and creating textures. Product description

The Spatola Dentata is used especially for creating visually striking and three-dimensional effects with various OIKOS coatings. This toothed spatula allows for creative and individual finishing that cannot be achieved with conventional tools.

Multidecor Spatola Dentata effect: Apply Multidecor (diluted 5% with potable water) to the surface with a brush irregularly. Before the product has time to dry, use the Spatola Dentata trowel in a circular motion to create small arcs or waves. The trowel should be used in a crisscross pattern, creating a dynamic and lively surface texture. This technique is ideal for finishing accent walls, background surfaces or elegant interior solutions, for example.

Cemento Materico – Effetto Spazzolato (Brushed Effect): First layer Cemento Matericoa Apply evenly, but not too finely. Once dry, apply a second coat of product and then immediately treat the surface with a Spatola Dentata, following the desired brushing direction (e.g. horizontal, vertical or diagonal). The final stroke should be done in parallel across the entire surface to achieve a uniform look. Once the product has started to dry, the surface can be lightly finished with a brush to remove any residue and to highlight the softness of the structure.

Tip for use

Apply the decorative coating first with a brush or with a spatula, and finish the surface with the Spatola Dentata in the desired direction.
