Water-based synthetic resin primer for cement-based substrates

PRIMER CEM is a ready-to-use, water-based synthetic resin primer specially designed for cement-based substrates. The product acts as a reinforcing and absorbent primer and is based on special acrylic copolymers in water dispersion.

Suitable for use on cement-, lime- and gypsum-based surfaces as well as on fiber cement and gypsum board substrates. The product has good penetration properties and evens out the absorbency of the substrate.

• Screeds, plasters and cement-based smoothing compounds

• Quartz surfaces

• Industrial floors and self-leveling floors

• Gypsumboard, gypsum and lime-based surfaces

Not to be used on tiles, wood, stone, marble or other non-mineral substrates.

Instructions for use

The substrate must be dry, solid, firm, sufficiently cured and free from cracks. The surface must be free from oil, grease, paint or wax.
Apply one coat by spray, brush or roller ensuring even application. On very absorbent substrates, water can be added to the product up to 30%.
If water is added, the product should be thoroughly mixed mechanically with a drill beater before use.
On gypsum-based substrates, it is recommended to sand and dust the surface thoroughly before application.
