Ecosmalto Thermo
Ecosmalto Thermo OIKOS is an ecological, high-quality acrylic enamel specially designed for cast iron and metal radiators and other high-temperature surfaces. Its heat-resistant composition guarantees excellent adhesion, long-lasting protection and an elegant finish that is resistant to temperature fluctuations, wear and washing.
Features and benefits
- Heat-resistant and long-lasting protection. Ecosmalto Thermo withstands high temperatures without discolouring, cracking or weakening over time.
- Optimal adhesion and even spreadability. The enamel spreads evenly, does not drip or splash, and its high coverage ensures a perfect finish in one or two coats.
- Odorless and environmentally friendly. Ecosmalto Thermo does not contain harmful solvents, heavy metals or other substances harmful to the environment or health. It is also suitable for use indoors without an unpleasant odor.
- High mechanical resistance. The product protects metal surfaces from scratching, abrasion and moisture, extending their service life.
Instructions for use
- Surface preparation: Make sure that the surface to be treated is clean, dry, free of grease and dust. Remove old loose paint and clean the surface thoroughly.
- Application: Ecosmalto Thermo is ready to use, but can be thinned with water (up to 5%) if necessary. Use a brush, roller or sprayer and apply a thin, even layer.
- Drying time: The first coat dries in 2–4 hours. If necessary, a second coat can be applied after 6 hours. Full hardening is achieved in 24 hours.
- Maintenance and cleaning: Ecosmalto Thermo is resistant to moisture and washing, so the surfaces can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
