Ecoprotettivo Legno
Ecoprotettivo Legno OIKOS is a water-based acrylic protective varnish that effectively protects wooden surfaces while preserving their natural appearance. The product forms a transparent film that prevents moisture penetration and prevents the formation of mold, bacteria and pests. It is scratch-resistant, does not yellow and has excellent resistance to weathering and UV radiation. Available in glossy and matt finishes. The product is safe for both the user and the environment.
Applications
- Indoor and outdoor wood surfaces
- Especially suitable for furniture, wooden surfaces of doors and windows, wall cladding, railings and other architectural details that require protection and a beautiful finish
Surface preparation
- Clean the surface to be treated thoroughly from dirt, grease and loose material.
- New, untreated wood: First treat with one layer TURAPORI ECOLOGICOor ECOIMPREGNANTE LEGNO Primer.
- Old, very porous wood: Treat with one or two layers ECOIMPREGNANTE LEGNO Primer.
- Previously treated wood: Light sanding with fine sandpaper is sufficient.
Application instructions
- Apply 2 coats of Ecoprotettivo Legno varnish using a brush, roller or sprayer (0.8-1.3 mm nozzle). Allow to dry for at least 6 hours between coats. The wood should be treated when its humidity is below 15%.
- Consumption: approx. 10–12 m²/l/layer
- Full drying: 24 h (20°C / RH ≤ 75 %)
