Eristysmaali Decortina New

Decortina New OIKOS is a water-borne, ecological special paint designed to provide excellent wash resistance and superior coverage for difficult interior surfaces. Its carefully developed formula, based on special acrylic resins, inorganic pigments and carefully selected additives, allows for a smooth, matt finish that both covers and refreshes the surface being treated. Specially designed for walls that are difficult to clean or that are soiled by smoke, soot, nicotine or other contaminants. Decortina New is suitable for both homes and public spaces where a clean, breathable and beautiful finish is required.

Priming and application

• The surface must be carefully cleaned of loose materials and impurities. If there are weakly adhering layers of paint on the surface, they must be removed before painting.
• For very porous surfaces, a primer is recommended CRILUX or NEOFIX, diluted 1:4 with drinking water.
• Apply two coats of Decortina New paint with a brush or roller. Allow to dry for 6-8 hours between coats.
• Grease stains and oily surfaces must be pre-treated with a suitable cleaner.

Safety and environment

The product is safe for both the user and the environment. It does not contain heavy metals, toxic solvents or volatile organic compounds that would endanger indoor air quality. Transportation, storage and disposal are carried out in accordance with the usual rules for construction products. Decortina New is a clean and breathable solution for demanding interior surfaces.
