Enamel paint 313 BioSmalto Opaco

313 BioSmalto Opaco OIKOS is an environmentally friendly, water-based and odorless special enamel based on acrylic binders with a matte finish, suitable for almost all substrates: wood, iron, zinc surfaces, PVC, plastic and many other materials. It offers very high coverage and durability, even on previously strongly colored surfaces, with just a few coats.

Features and benefits

• Highly opaque and durable: Excellent hiding power, enabling effective coverage of even dark shades. Resistant to washing, wear and abrasion (class 1 – EN ISO 11998).
• Odorless and formaldehyde-free: Contains no solvents, formaldehyde or heavy metals such as lead or chromium. Suitable for sensitive environments and spaces where special cleanliness is required.
• Non-yellowing, excellent lightfastness: Protects surfaces without changing their appearance: the bright white shade is maintained.
• Easy to apply: No dripping or splashing, spreads evenly and adheres well to the surface. Suitable for use with brush, roller or spray (dilution only 5%).
• Excellent choice for renewing interior surfaces: Also suitable for previously painted surfaces and for restoring valuable furniture, doors and panels.

Surface preparation

• Wood: Sand lightly and use filler if necessary primer ECOFONDO RIEMPITIVO.
• Iron: Remove rust, use CONVERTITORE ECOLOGICO and ANTIRUGGINE ECOLOGICO.
• Plastic/PVC/Smooth surfaces: Clean and lightly roughen, prime if necessary 250 BioFissativo Alta Adesione is recommended.

Application and technical data

• Application: By brush, roller (ready to use) or spray (dilution 5% with water)
• Drying time: Dust dry 2–4 h, recoatable 6 h, fully dry 36 h
• Washable: 7 days after application
• Gloss: Matt finish (approx. 7 gloss levels)
• Contains 95 g/l of VOC compounds, yet meets the highest indoor air classification A+ (TVOC A+). This ensures very low-emission and safe use indoors, even in sensitive and demanding environments.
