In this course, you will learn about one of OIKOS' most prestigious decorative interior coatings and learn how to make them by hand. Raffaello Decorstucco is an ecological lime-based interior coating that can be used to achieve various results, from a refined matte surface to a deep and shiny Venetian stucco surface.

Each finished surface is unique. The final result is affected by the application technique, trowel movement, number of layers, shade and surface polishing. In the course you will learn to understand how these factors can be used to create depth, light variation and Italian elegance in a space.

The course is suitable for painters, interior design professionals, renovators and anyone who wants to develop their skills and learn how to use high-quality decorative materials.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN THE COURSE?

The course will cover the entire Raffaello Decorstucco system from substrate preparation to the finished surface.

• Raffaello Decorstucco properties and applications

• Substrate evaluation and proper preparation

• Priming with Il Primer

• Surface leveling and preparation before decorative treatment

• The correct application technique for Raffaello Decorstucco

• Building thin layers

• The correct use and working angle of the steel trowel

• Creating a marble-like pattern and depth of color

• Seal sealing and polishing

• Glossy, semi-glossy and more subdued surfaces implementation

• tool use, maintenance and cleaning

• suitable protection and finishing products

• practical training on your own model surface

During the course, each participant will make their own model piece, which they can take with them after the course.
