Primer Neofix

Neofix OIKOS is a professional-grade primer that effectively strengthens and seals surfaces up to a depth of 5 mm. This transparent, highly penetrating and breathable primer is specially designed for absorbent and fragile wall surfaces, such as: highly porous walls, old plasters, gypsum plasters and fibre cement, crumbling and weathered substrates. Its formula, based on acrylic resins, penetrates deeply and strengthens the surface structure, while balancing the absorbency, which improves the durability and appearance of the final paint surface. Low odor, fire safety and environmentally friendly properties make Neofix a safe option for all types of interior spaces.

Instructions for use

• Preparation: Clean the surface thoroughly, remove dust, dirt and loose paint. If the substrate is very fragile, treat it first with Neofix before applying any other primers or paints.
• Mixing and Dilution
  Normal absorbency: Dilute 50% with water
  High absorbency: Dilute 70% with water
  Highly porous surface: Dilute 100% with water
• Application
  Use roller, brush or sprayer (nozzle size 1.3 mm)
  Apply 1 coat, ensuring even coverage
• Drying time
  Interim drying time: 2 hours
  Applying the next coat: 4 hours
  Full drying time: 10–12 hours
• Finishing
  Once the primer is completely dry, you can apply the next coat of paint or coating
