Primer Crilux

Crilux OIKOS is a water-based, vapor-permeable and reinforcing acrylic primer designed for porous surfaces. It penetrates deep into the substrate structure and effectively strengthens it, while improving the adhesion and durability of the surface material. This makes Crilux an ideal solution for gypsum-based surfaces, plastered walls, and new and old wall surfaces that need additional reinforcement before final treatment. This mild-smelling and non-toxic primer is safe to use and is suitable for both residential and public spaces.

Instructions for use

• Clean the surface to be treated thoroughly. Remove dust, loose paint, old plaster and impurities.
• Adjust the dilution ratio of Crilux according to the porosity of the surface:
  Surface-treated or slightly dirty surfaces, mix 1 part Crilux and 3 parts water
  Highly absorbent surfaces, such as plaster, mix 1 part Crilux and 5 parts water
  Very porous surfaces, mix 1 part Crilux and 8 parts water
• Apply the diluted primer. Use a brush, roller or spray, applying 1–2 coats depending on the surface requirements.
• Allow to dry completely before further processing:
  Touch dry in approx. 1–2 hours (+20°C, 75% RH)
  Overcoatable in 6-8 hours (+20°C, 75% RH)
• Cleaning of tools. Rinse with water immediately after use.
